Thoughts On A Sunday Afternoon.

1. Lazy Sundays are the best kind.
2. Ecclesia is the best place for me on a Sunday morning and I miss it.
3. Brazilian bathing suits are amazing, I'm never going back.
4. My booty is a little bit burnt...
5. Grandparents are one of life's most precious gifts...especially when they're watching the kids.
6. I am grateful for my beauticians at home.  Thank you to my Two Michelles, Julie, and Lisa B.  I'll be with you shortly in great need of your services...
7. Ten year old boys will love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles no matter what language it's in.
8. When going on an extended stay in Europe that involves two fourteen hour international flights, go ahead and purchase that Kindle, or iPad, or whatever other device you could have downloaded books to...
9. Texas is just as fallible as any other state in the union, but it's also the best...soooooo...
10. When a care package comes from the Texas State Capitol and has personalized Texas Ranger badges in it, you accept it gleefully and graciously and thank your lucky stars that you were born into the greatest state in the union!! (Thank you, Mathew Posey)
11. There is no better way to break down a language barrier than by working on an art project.

13. Sometimes roommates and best friends need seven weeks apart to remember why they love each other so much.

15. Why was I never introduced to the fresh figs as a child OR as an adult?!?!  I, clearly, didn't realize what I was missing.  This food has almost reached avocado status in my book.
16. I may not know Italian when I get home but I've got all the good phrases for running my classroom well next year.  I know how to say: sit down, be quiet, look at me, listen to me, and stop whining.
17. Sweet Tea Queens really do stick together like ice cubes in a glass.  Miss you gals.
18. Coffee after lunch can be likened to a cigarette after sex...(I'm assuming...I don't smoke...)
19. There is no likening to coffee + a piece of dark chocolate after lunch.
20. List making makes me happy.

Aaaaaand this is why we wash our lettuce before ingesting.  Take a look at the right hand sink after the first rinse.  We do four to five rinses before the spin cycle...WERQ!!
