I've always had an issue with procrastination. I've vowed to try and put a stop to my evil wait until the last minute ways and yet, here I sit, at ten o'clock on the Thursday night before we leave for the Cote D'azur early in the AM, trying desperately to get in one last post. I have no idea what the wifi situation will be where I'm going, but I've been told that it could be better...as in...I may not have internet access for the next ten days...
So, here is a post dedicated to catching you up a little bit on the happenings of this week. I'm keeping it relatively short because, as you know, it's getting a little late on my side of the world and I still have to print out our english activities for the next ten days. We may be on holiday, but the english lessons will still be in full swing and with the impending lack of internet resources...I'm having to do a little pre-planning...

| We had a water fight in Catia's backyard. |
| It got a little crazy. |
| We got a little tired. |
| Aaaaaand then we ate cereal off of the table. Oh wait, no, wait a minute...that was just Gabriele. |
| A lesson issued. |
| Totally smitten. |
| My hand is in the veggie bucket to give you an idea of how large and beautiful Catia's vegetable garden is. And yes, these were picked for that nights feast. |
| They grow watermelons on their property...I mean, who does that...? |
| Daddy, I'm sorry, but their blackberry vines put us to shame. |
| lady of the house doling out the goodies at the kids table. |
| This guy. Brought me three different whiskeys to choose from when I said I'd like whiskey after dinner because it reminded me of home. |
| Oh, yes, and I got my first pedicure in a foreign country!! Because that's what you do when you start LIVING in a foreign country. It had to be done! |
| She was good. The pedis aren't nearly as luxurious it Italy as they are in The States...no real massage or anything. It's all much more clinical than that...but I will say, I don't think my toenails have ever been groomed so well. I mean...she really got in there... |
| It kind of reminded me of a doctor's office...only you end up with pretty, red toenails instead of a prescription. |
